I purchased this for my 92 year old mother, she loves it and she can work with it because it is so simple. Loves the look and color. Made very very very well
I can't talk on it when there is any other noise in the room. I just received my Crosley Radio CR59-PI Princess Phone. I am somewhat disappointed because the volume on the receiver is quite low, even though I have it set on high. I do love the looks of it and have wanted a princess phone for years. I just wish with technology what it is today, that I could have more control over the volume.
The phone is adorable. I hold it away from me when I dial. Design is just a little different from the original, but still very cute.
The sound is very good--I don't have to strain to hear with it. It takes some getting used to because at first you feel like the phone isn't sitting correctly. Love the yellow.
If I could change anything it would be these 2 things: (1) The cradle holds the receiver up a little bit. There is just enough weight to the phone to make it feel solid. Comfortable to use.
(2) When you push the buttons to dial, it makes a sharp noise in your ear, which is a little annoying. These are small things, and I am overall very happy with the phone.
Very pleased with this phone. It's a great shade of pink, and has the vintage styling and old fashioned ring. Substantial and dependable. Looks great and works great.
The ring tone is quaint bringing back memories of old movies watched on a rainy Saturday afternoon. This reproduction princess phone has a seriously precious style all its own oozing with charm. Comes with an easy push button dialing and two variations of tone. I love its soft pink color and the 'just right size'. The spiral cord is extra long so there's no straining with the stretch. Receiver tone is adequate. I could sum up this phone in 3 words.I love it.
